Policy
- All services that have been performed, or cancelled without at least 24 hours notice, will be charged to the account
- The refund amount is the original purchase price of a package, minus the purchase price of the number of hours used within that package, minus a $35 processing fee
- Example: 20 hours are purchased at the Bulk rate, but only 12 are used. A 12 hour purchase would have been at the Standard rate, so the cost of that purchase and the processing fee is subtracted from the amount collected.
Procedure
- The client request a refund for their remaining balance
- The tutor is instructed to discontinue services and log all charges to the account within 3 days.
- The customer has 7 days to challenge those sessions and charges
- If no charges are challenged, the refund amount is calculated and transaction initiated
- Refunds are usually made through Paypal by refunding a portion of the online payment back to the purchasing party. If unavailable, the refund will be sent by check to the client's mailing address.
- An email describing the transaction is sent to the client
- If mailed, the client should expect the refund within 5 business days
