Why do you want to be a tutor?
- Tutoring gives me the ability to work with people to help them understand the concept of what they are doing. I enjoy educating people not only on HOW to do things, but also WHY to do them as well. This is a skill set that I think is vital to all people as they go through life, as it allows you to work more effeciently through any problem you may have in life.
Why should a student pick you?
- I allow each student to understand why they are using the process they are, so that they can apply what is learned to future courses as well. Math is a subject that builds on what was previously learned. Missing the concept of one item can set you back for the rest of the course and possibly future classes as well.
Personal Statement:
- I have experience tutoring a variety of grade levels that include first and second grades up to collegiate under-grad. I actually enjoy working math problems and hopefully that same energy rubs off on the student.
