Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I want to be a tutor because I find joy in helping others on how to learn. I believe that the best tutoring should assure students not to be afraid of the subjects, provide students the skills to analized the subject individually, and inspired students to explored knowledge by themselves.
Why should a student pick you?
- I am currently in my fifth year of college. I am getting my Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and I have a minor in math. My GPA is 3.81 and my science GPA is 3.90. I am working as tutor in Nevada State College and the subjects that I tutor including Biology, Math, Physics and Chemistry (both General and Organic-Chem). Because of my strong background in science, I can explain and analyze math in many different ways. Moreover, I have over 5 years of tutoring experiences ranging from pre-high school childrens to non-tradictional college students. I have the patient and knowledge to help students to build their own ways of throughts.
Personal Statement:
- My name is Zhiqi Feng, people called me 'Z'. I am currently studying biology in Nevada State College. This is my fifth and last year of getting my B.S. in Biology and a minor in math. My goal is to get into Medical School and hopefully be a Medical Doctor. I am very interest in all fields of science, and because I have been in school for so long, I have taken almost all the science classes that NSC offeres. I have over 5 years of tutoring experiences, including 3 years of working in henderson KUMON, and 3 years in my current college.
