- Hobbies:
- I am an avid fiction writer and poet who golfs as much as possible and plays baseball in the Las Vegas Adult Baseball League. Other hobbies include acting, hiking, marksmanship and public speaking.
Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I want to be a tutor because all students learn at a different pace and in various ways. My creativity, entergetic and motivational style and demeanor are sure to inspire students who either have difficulty learning in the traditional classroom environment or simply need a little extra help. I know how to break down lessons to the basics and build them back up from there. Every student or player has the ability to be great and individual tailored tutoring can be the impetus to help them achieve success.
Why should a student pick you?
- For nearly 15 years I have taught and coached in small group environments. From on the baseball diamond to in the classroom I have had an outstanding rapport with students, players, parents, teachers, directors and administrators alike. I treat every student, player or parent as a professional who is engaging my expertise with a desire to excel in a chosen specialty. As a military officer I am courteous, professional and prompt. I also offer tutoring in Aerospace Science (JROTC and ROTC) courses as well as drill & ceremonies, customs and courtesies and leadership/management arenas.
Personal Statement:
- I am a Major in the United States Air Force and with that comes a dedication to integrity, service and excellence. These are the bases on which I conduct my tutoring sessions and are equally vital characteristics in those whom I coach or teach.
